The iFreeStyle.ca Instructor team offers private lessons for those who are interested in a learning structure where lessons are customized to the students' individual goals. Students consider this option when there a need for flexible scheduling and personal development goals are a priority.

Q: Why would I want to take private lessons?
  1. Lessons are customized to you!
  2. Learn at your own pace and get individual attention.
  3. Opportunity to spend more time on specific areas that cannot be addressed in group class environments.
  4. More flexibility in scheduling if you can't commit to weekly lessons or if there are scheduled conflicts with group class offerings.

Q: What can I learn though private lessons with you?

Some examples are listed below, but are not limited to the following (contact us if you'd like to discuss your personal goals):

Topics:

  1. Improve/solidify On2 Timing
  2. Transitioning from On1 to On2
  3. Spinning technique (leading/following/individual technique)
  4. Styling (individual/partner styling)
  5. Turn Patterns/Shines
  6. Body movement & Isolations
  7. Performance preparation and choreography
  8. Wedding dances/choreography
  9. Performance Choreography

Q: How much do private lessons cost? Do you offer package deals?

The table below outlines some common types of private lessons as well as the associated costs. The
total cost for the student is the sum of the instructor rate (see table below) and studio rentals which typically range between $12-$15 per hour.

5 and 10-lesson packages are available and must be pre-paid.

Q: Where do you teach private lessons?

Most of our private lessons are held at dance studios downtown or midtown Toronto.   We sometimes conduct private lessons in students' fitness room if within GTA. Contact us for details.


Q: Can i bring a friend to a private lesson?

No. To maintain focus and optimal productivity, family, friends, and pets are not allowed to attend private lessons.


Q: What payment types are accepted?
