About iFreeStyle.ca's Performance Classes
iFreeStyle.ca's Performance Classes are designed for students who are interested in taking their dancing to the stage and to experience training like professional dance teams. Classes take place once or twice per week, where students will be taught and will rehearse a choreographed routine, then perform as a group. iFreeStyle.ce offers performance programs in Salsa On2 (Partnerwork, Shines), Cha Cha Cha and Bachata!

iFreeStyle.ca offers 5 Performance Class Programs:

1) Intermediate Salsa On2 Partner work Choreography
For intermediate level salsa On2 dancers with experience in partnering and shines. iFreeStyle.ca's Intermediate Partner work performance class is ideal for students who want to be immersed in salsa performance program that helps to develop students coordination in shines, introduces body movement and performance technique at an intermediate level. All participants of this program will spent 42 hours preparing to perform the choreography in front of live audiences. Maximum 10 dancers; 5 male, 5 female.

2) Intermediate/Advanced Salsa On2 Partner work Choreography
For Intermediate/Advanced level salsa On2 dancers with multiple spin technique. iFreeStyle.ca's Partner work choreography is designed for students who are interested in an intensive program, learning intricate choreography that incorporates shines, body movement and partner work at intermediate/advanced levels. All participants of this program will spent 42 hours preparing to perform the choreography in front of live audiences. Maximum 10 dancers; 5 male, 5 female.

3) Salsa Shines On2 Choreography
This 2-part program is designed for students who are interested learning new footwork sequences, improving their salsa On2 timing, and developing isolations and body movement. Partner work will not be included in the choreography. Students will meet for 2 hours per week to learn an intermediate-advanced open shines (footwork) choreography over 6 months. For those who are interested in taking what they've learned to the next level, part two of this program is to prepare students to perform the choreography in front of live audiences.   Students who participate in the PERFORMANCE OPTION will continue for 9 additional weeks to prepare for the performance aspect.

4) Intermediate Cha Cha Cha On2 Choreography
This new performance class offers intermediate level cha cha cha dancers an opportunity to learn and perform Cha Cha Cha On2 partner work choreographay. Students will meet for 2 hours per week over 12 weeks.

5) Intermediate Bachata Choreography - NEW!
Bachata is one of the most sensual Latin dances socially danced around the world. In addition to being sensual and beautiful, it is a dance that is also very rhythmic, musical, and requires great partner connection. iFreeStyle.ca is excited to offer a NEW Bachata Performance this January 2010! This intensive program offers students 40 hours of classes over 5 months, meeting once per week for 2 hours. Our new performance class is designed for intermediate level Bachata lovers who are interested taking their dancing to the stage while learning to develop better timing & rhythm, musicality, body isolations, frame, and partner connection.. All skills that can be transferred to other dances like Salsa and Cha Cha Cha.
