DOMINICAN BACHATA with Caryl Cuizon
The musicality, soulful rhythms and sensual partner connection expressed in Dominican Bachata is unlike any other. Learn the essential foundations and rhythms to get you started on your journey to Bachata bliss!

INTERMEDIATE TURN PATTERNS with Joey Lopez & Velina Sotirova
Attention intermediate salsa On2 dancers! Interested in learning a fun, creative new turn pattern full of On2 swing? This workshop is intended for intermediate level salsa On2 dancers. Multiple spin technique is not required to participate. Variations will be offered to leaders and followers who have experience with multiple turns.

INTERMEDIATE CHA CHA CHA SHINES & PARTNERWORK COMBO with Caryl Cuizon & Angus Dirnbeck
If you love to groove to Cha Cha but want to learn more intricate footwork, funky partner work with syncopated rhythms topped off with sensual, playful styling, don't miss this cha cha cha workshop for leaders and followers.

INTERMEDIATE LADIES STYLING with Caryl Cuizon/MEN'S SHINES & STYLING with Angus Dirnbeck
This workshop is all about you and dancing solo! Caryl and Angus will each be teaching a salsa shine On2, incorporatingisolated arm styling, head rolls, body waves and other essentialstyling movements commonly, and not so commonly used in salsa!

ADVANCED TURN PATTERNS (SALSA ON2) with Mo Kobrosli & Caryl Cuizon
Interested in learning an new intricate partner work combination? In this workshop, leaders and followers will learn a “quick change” turn pattern that will challenge the leader’s timing and ability to lead quick directional changes. Follower will learn to follow the lead of her partner through footwork techniques used at more advanced levels. Leaders and followers must have intermediate/advanced level salsa On2, including multiple spin technique and coca-cola's On2.

TASTE OF SALSA ON2 with Joey Lopez & Velina Sotirova
Are you an On1 dancers, never danced salsa before or want a refresher on your salsa On2 timing? This workshop will give you a taste of salsa On2, focusing mainly on basics steps and timing ... fundamentals that you need for the next levels of salsa On2 learning!

FAQ

1) What should I wear? WHITE! This year's theme is WHITE - Attire is casual.
2) Do I need a partner to take a workshop? No! We will rotate partners.

4) I don't dance On2, should I still come? This social is open to dancers of all salsa styles - and also lovers of bachata and bachata! If you are interested in learning to dance On2, we offer a FREE Taste of On2 lesson at 8:30pm

Other Important Notes

  • Outside drinks are not permitted after 9pm. Cash bar available at 9pm at great prices!
  • In the winter, outside shoes are not permitted in the studio - please change shoes outside the studio before entering.
  • Parking permit is in effect at midnight on Dovercourt Road. Parking is available past midnight on Bloor St.
