What is a social?

iFreeStyle salsa socials provide a non-intimidating, casual environment for salsa lovers in Toronto/GTA to gather, meet new people and dance the night away. We invite you join us for a fun night of dancing and meet dancers of all levels who share the same passion for salsa. If you are a new to salsa, it's a great place to be inspired by experienced dancers and practice your newest moves! We even offer a FREE Taste of On2 (Beginner Salsa On2) lesson for you and any friends who want to try it out! For the hardcore salsero be ready to get your fix on one of the best hardwood floors in the city! Just bring your dance shoes and dance! Everyone is welcome!

At iFreeStyle, we love celebrating birthdays, so if it's your birthday that month, just show us ID with your birthday on it when you arrive be our guest!

We'd love to celebrate with you so we invite you to be part of the birthday dance! No pressure, just have fun! Check the video on the left!

FAQ

What should I wear?
It's casual so jeans and a t-shirt are great! Dress up or be comfy!

I don't dance On2, should I still come?
This social is open to dancers of all salsa styles - and also lovers of bachata and bachata! If you are interested in learning to dance On2, we offer a FREE Taste of On2 lesson at 8pm!

Things to note:

  • Attire is casual, come in your jeans and have a great time!
  • Outside drinks are not permitted after 9pm. Cash bar available at 9pm at great prices!
  • In the winter, outside shoes are not permitted in the studio - please change shoes outside the studio before entering.
  • Parking permit is in effect at midnight on Dovercourt Road. Parking is available past midnight on Bloor St.
