Intermediate Salsa On2 - Intermediate C
Pre-requisite: Intermediate Salsa On2 (A) and (B) or equivalent
*Drop-in's are welcome - see "1 hour OPEN Class" under rates for class cost.
Following the completion of both Intermediate (A) and (B) (or possessing the equivalent skill set), students are taught turn patterns that combine intermediate level partner work moves, with double right turn variations for followers and turns for the leader. Focus will be on multiple spin preparation, leading/following technique, balance, smooth transitions, fluid connection to partner and music, speed, and further developing clean footwork through weight transfers, body positions and timing. Students will learn to incorporate "On2 swing" to better connect to the music and partner, and to use "swing" to smoothen lead/follow to simplify the effort used when dancing. Skills learned in this class will prepare the students for higher level classes the demand solid timing, On2 swing, speed, and the ability to connect to partner. |
